Email & Chat Task Extractor
Find every request and commitment buried in emails or Slack, and list what is yours first.
Paste as many messages as you like. Quoted replies (lines starting with >) are skipped so tasks are not counted twice.
How this works, and what it cannot do
Messages are split by sender using email headers or chat formats, then each sentence is checked for requests (“could you…”, “please…”, “〜お願いします”), commitments (“I’ll…”) and instructions. Priority comes from words like “urgent” or “ASAP” and from how soon the deadline is.
Nothing connects to your mailbox or Slack — you paste what you want checked, and it never leaves this page. Rules miss unusual phrasing, so check the list and add anything it missed before exporting.
Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is processed on your own device and is not uploaded by DO101.
About the Email & Chat Task Extractor
Paste an email thread, a Slack or Teams channel, or a chat export and get one prioritised list of every request and commitment in it — with the things asked of you at the top. Each task gets an owner, a deadline where one was mentioned, and a priority from words like "urgent" and how soon it is due. Quoted replies are skipped so nothing is counted twice. Edit the list, then download it as Excel, put the deadlines in your calendar, or send it straight into the Daily Work Planner. Nothing is uploaded and no AI service is used.

- 2Paste an email thread or chat, or open a saved file.
- 3Read the list, most urgent first, and switch to "Only mine" to focus.
- 4Correct anything, then download Excel or calendar deadlines — or copy the list into the Daily Planner.

Frequently asked questions
Does it connect to my Gmail, Outlook or Slack?
No. You paste the messages you want checked. That is what lets it run with no account, no permissions and no server — and nothing you paste is sent anywhere.
How does it know a task is for me?
Enter your name. Requests that name you, @mention you, or — in a two-person thread — are addressed to you are flagged, and "Only mine" shows just those.
How is priority decided?
Words like urgent, ASAP, critical or 至急 make it high. Otherwise, a deadline within a day is high and within five days is medium. You can change any priority by hand.
Why was something missed?
The rules look for requests ("could you…", "please…"), commitments ("I'll…") and instructions. A task hidden in an unusual sentence can slip through, so skim the messages once and add anything missing.
Can I use it in Japanese?
Yes — Japanese requests, commitments and deadlines are recognised alongside English ones.
