Does it look exactly like Word?
No, and the tool says so before you convert. It produces a clean, readable PDF with your text and structure intact. Exact fonts, columns, floated images and complex tables are not reproduced.
Can I convert an old .doc file?
No. The legacy binary .doc format cannot be read in a browser. Open it in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
What happens to non-Latin text?
PDF's standard fonts only cover the Latin alphabet, so scripts like Devanagari, Arabic or Chinese are replaced with question marks — and the tool tells you exactly how many characters that affected.
