Repair PDF
Recover what can be read from a damaged PDF.
Recovery, not magic. This re-parses the file loosely and rebuilds a clean document from whatever pages survive. It fixes broken cross-reference tables, stray bytes and malformed objects. It cannot invent data that is genuinely missing — if a page’s content was lost before you got the file, no tool will bring it back.

Add a PDF that will not open and DO101 will try to rebuild it from what it can read.
Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is not uploaded by DO101.

Frequently asked questions
Can it recover a page whose content is missing?
No. If the data was lost before the file reached you — a truncated download is the usual cause — there is nothing to rebuild from. No tool can invent it, and this one says so rather than pretending.
What kinds of damage can it fix?
Broken cross-reference tables, stray bytes appended by a bad transfer, and malformed objects that make strict readers refuse the file. Those are the common causes of "this PDF cannot be opened".
My PDF is password-protected and will not repair.
Remove the password with the Unlock tool first, then repair the result. Repairing an encrypted file without decrypting it would produce unreadable output.
